“Beauty and the Beast” Season 2 Episode 20 “Ever After” aired on June 23, 2014. It was directed by Steven A. Adelson and written by Vanessa Rojas. Cat (Kristin Kreuk) met with Vincent (Jay Ryan). They got a call from Tess (Nina Lisandrello) about Watson, their witness against Gabe (Sendhil Ramamurthy). Vincent used his powers to track Watson’s trail and found that Gabe may have silenced the witness for good.

The couple also looked again for the agent who previously helped them in “Cat and Mouse.” They were offered once more by Agent Knox (Anthony Ruivivar) for a shot at normalcy. They headed to a new town with new identities as “Veronica” and “Tim” as part of the witness protection program. Unfortunately, their newly-forged relationships with other couples were short-lived. They witnessed how a suspicious officer shot Frank, the husband of April.

Back at the Gabe problem, Tess was determined to help them find Gabe. She did succeeded in arresting him, but Gabe challenged her to prove her case against him. She then sought the help of J.T. (Austin Basis) and his cellphone tracker. They found his location at the dungeon and found a clue about Watson’s murder. The lovers were about to send in the clue when Gabe held them at gunpoint.

Meanwhile, Cat can’t help herself from probing about Frank’s case. She went to the new town’s station while Vincent talked with April. They later found out that April planned everything. She was secretly sleeping with Officer Lewis, which she hid from Frank. Cat and the officer had a bout over the gun, but Cat immediately got away. The episode ended with Cat and Vincent returning to the city after their botched chance at being normal.

He will set a romantic date with her. He previously got on her bad side after he continued to plot on getting Vincent away from her for good. It only got him more determined because of his affection for her and after Cat’s real father instructed him to do everything to keep Cat safe from Vincent.

On the other hand, Cat will have her hands quite full in this episode. She may have agreed to Gabe’s request, but she will be concocting plans about Vincent’s escape. Previously on “Cold Case,” Heather (Nicole Gale Anderson) told her about her half-sister’s upcoming wedding before she got kidnapped. Cat was now tasked to plan for her upcoming bachelorette party.
