Good time had started for Sherlock actor Benedict Cumberbatch this year only, after he and his wife Sophie Hunter welcomed their first baby boy, but rumors are there in the air that everything is not good between the newlywed couple. We are wondering whether the 39-year-old Hollywood heartthrob is more interested in his career than his newly created family. Read on!
The star who was recently in news for the upcoming season of his BBC series, “Sherlock,” has mesmerized everyone with his groundbreaking performance in it, along with his award-winning movie “The Imitation Game” has actually brought lucky charm for him this year. As far as his career front is concerned, Cumberbatch is not slowing down anyhow but his personal life, on the other hand, looks tumultuous.
A new report from Star Magazine reveals that marriage troubles are already underway in the home premises of Cumberbatch and Hunter, and the main cause behind all the troubles is his acting career. As per inputs by a source, “They bicker all the time. Instead of his success bringing them joy, it has completely gone to his head.” The insider has also stated that Cumberbatch simply can’t get out of his career thoughts, even when he is at home with his small beautiful family. Hence, the relationship is heading towards a crack in near future and it’s evident.
Cumberbatch, who recently revealed the name of his baby boy, has not said anything on the issue personally as of now. But there are doubts regarding the reliability of these rumors even though the Hollywood hunk was recently spotted spending quality time with his wife and son in London. As reported by MailOnline, the threesome was recently spotted taking a stroll out on the London streets.
Well, Cumberbatch is not much concerned about all the ongoing rumors about his married life, as it seems, because he is still a doting father and a caring husband. To recap, in February Cumberbatch and Hunter entered the holy wedlock and their son, christened Christopher Carlton, saw the light of the Earth in June 2015.
