- The “Jason Bourne” Trilogy (“The Bourne Identity”, “The Bourne Supremacy” and “The Bourne Ultimatum”)
Former CIA assassin Jason Bourne, played by Matt Damon, amazed the viewers with action-packed scenes based on Robert Ludlum’s book series. Peter Greengrass directed “Supremacy” and “Ultimatum,” while Doug Liman took over “Identity.” With the success of the “Bourne” trilogy, another Bourne installment was set to be released in 2016.

Considered as one of the best classic films of all time, the trilogy follows the career and life story of Vito Corleone, played by Marlon Brando (“The Godfather”) and Robert De Niro (“The Godfather Part II”). “The Godfather saga” was based on a book written by Mario Puzo. Director Francis Ford Coppola and the cast presented the trilogy magnificently, and it has since become the greatest mobster movie ever made.

This dystopian sci-fi trilogy created and directed by Lana and Andy Wachowski opened the door to “bullet time” visual effect. The “Matrix’s” visual effects as well as the philosophical and religious references made it to the 13th spot on the Guardian’s Best Sci-fi Movie of All Time list.
- “Back to the Future” Trilogy (Back to the Future I-III)
The franchise follows the time travel adventures of Marty Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) and Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) with the DeLorean as their time machine. Robert Zemeckis directed all three installments.

The trilogy was directed Peter Jackson and stars Elijah Wood, Orlando Bloom, Ian McKellen, Viggo Mortensen, Sean Astin and John Rhys-Davies. The series was based on J. R. R. Tolkien’s book. It follows the quest of Frodo Baggins (Elijah Wood), a citizen of Middle-Earth and his quest to destroy the One Ring along with its master, Dark Lord Sauron. The trilogy’s prequel, “The Hobbit,” has gained almost the same “LOTR” success after hitting the screen.
