Better Call Saul” Season 1, Episode 3 “Nacho” picked up where it left off and we were able to dive deeper into the brilliant mind of Jimmy. Read below for the full recap.

The episode kicked off with Chuck getting Jimmy out of jail. He was in jail because he was facing sex offender charges. We also learned that Jimmy wasn’t talking to his family for 5 years already. It was until he got arrested and had his brother bail him out. That is also why he’s been trying to straighten things out in the present day. It was because he promised his brother that he’s not going to mess things up again.

Meanwhile, there was the Nacho deal that Jimmy had to think about in the present day. Nacho left him a phone number in case he changes his mind. He called it and a woman answered it surprisingly. It turns out that the woman on the other line was also a lawyer who is working on the Kettleman case.

The Kettlemans is the family that Nacho plans to scheme. Jimmy let it slip to the woman named Kim on the other line that the family might be in danger. However, he changed his mind the last minute. She tried to take it back but Kim didn’t fall for it. With the damage done, Jimmy tried to fix things again. He went  to a payphone that night calling the Kettlemans residence with a paper towel roll. He used it to disguise his voice to tell them that their whole family is in danger.

The next day, Jimmy was back to work. H is day got interrupted when he received a call from Kim. She says that there’s an emergency and he rushed out to where she was. That also means that he had to pass by the tollgates and who was there, Mike, of course. Jimmy got to the Kettlemans. He was surprised to see that there were a lot of police cars surrounding the area. It turns out that the family has gone missing.

Out of panic, Jimmy went to a payphone again to call Nacho. He wants to clear his name so that he doesn’t have anything to do with the disappearance of the Kettlemans. However, he was too late because nacho was already in jail. He was a suspect because his car has been spotted two nights prior to the disappearance of the Kettlemans and blood has been found in his car. Nacho has sent the cops for Jimmy to act as his lawyer.

When Jimmy got to jail, he asked Nacho if the Kettlemans were okay. Nacho said he didn’t do anything and the blood found in his car was the blood of the twins from the previous episode. Nacho believes that Jimmy set him up and told him to fix things.

Racking his brain, Jimmy managed to save the day by telling the cops that the Kettlemans have kidnapped themselves. It was after inspecting the little girl’s bedroom and noticed that most of her toys are missing. He has to prove this of course but before he could do that, he got in on a fight with Mike first. In the end, they were able to patch things up.

Jimmy went to search for the Kettlemans. Yes, they were there, camping out and singing songs. Mrs. Kettleman didn’t want to go at first and she and Jimmy went in a battle of tug of war over a duffel bag, which turns out contains a lot of cash.
