“Better Call Saul,” the spin-off of “Breaking Bad” focused on the life of Saul Goodman before he actually came to be known by that name and used to be a small-time con-artist turned lawyer James McGill. It was only when he turned to the life of crime that he came to be known as the former. If Season 1 made it clear that there was no turning back for James, Season 2 will reportedly begin work on his transformation into Goodman. Read on for more details.
According to International Business Times, the second season of “Better Call Saul” will be airing early next year. What is good to know that the executive producer of the show Thomas Schnauz who’s also known for “Breaking Bad” tweeted about it.
The EP in his tweet on Tuesday mentioned about the first-ever production meeting for Season 2. Attached with his tweet was a picture of his own name card along with the series creators and co-executive producers Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould.
Since the series has been so popular, one curious fan deduced that the table arrangement in the picture looked like a table read for the cast of the series. Mr. Schnauz was, however, quick to mention that it was not a table read for the cast because it was scheduled for the next day.
Recently Design & Trend reported that the cast of “Better Call Saul” had their first table read just the next day on Wednesday as clarified by Mr. Schnauz earlier. They also reported that the series would again be shot in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Star of the show Bob Odenkirk in an interview to Variety stated about his character that there’s an incredible amount of confidence in James ‘Jimmy’ McGill and the tone of the spin-off is so different than “Breaking Bad.”
It remains to be seen what Jimmy will do in the second season of the show. Fans will have to wait for Season 2 to premiere.
