After a successful first table read for the second season of “Better Call Saul”, we think that there is no stopping to this show now.
According to Christian Today, the writers of “Better Call Saul” are looking into returning the roles of Craig and Betsy for season 2 to challenge further the life of Jimmy McGill aka Saul. Craig and Betsy also known as Kettlemans appeared in four episodes of first season and made a good impression. By the way, “Breaking Bad” fans might be thrilled to know that Walter White is surely going to get some airtime in season 2 of “Better Call Saul”.
Fans who thought that “Breaking Bad” was too dark for them found solace in its spin-off, “Better Call Saul”. The show is equally entertaining and it helps the viewer know more about Jimmy McGill’s life before the events with Walter White happened with him.
Filming of second season of “Better Call Saul” has already begun in Albuquerque and the production team have been flying back and forth to the locations. From the reports that surfaced online, the second season of “Better Call Saul” will focus on the changes in the life of Jimmy McGill as a transformed person.
One might think that if the show creators will bring back Bryan Cranston then it would be a good publicity of the show but in an interview with Access Hollywood, the actor said that this is not just being presented an option for some weak publicity stunt. According to the actor, if Walter White will have a cameo on the show then it would be good for storyline reasons and it would not be some poor PR stuff which people do these days. “I would do it in a heartbeat because I owe him — and because it’s a great show. But he wouldn’t do it just for stunt casting. It would be for story reasons. There would be something cool behind it,” said Bryan Cranston.
