The previous episode was a bit tough on Sheldon as Leonard finally decided to man up and move in with wife Penny across the hall leaving Sheldon alone in their wonderful apartment. Now that both the best buddies have been separated, that doesn’t mean that they can’t continue to hang out with each other. The upcoming fifth episode’s synopsis of “The Big Bang Theory” reveals what the two are going to do when they hang out with each other.
According to International Business Times, episode 5 “The Perspiration Implementation” will see the two best friends and now ex-roommates take up a hobby together. It will all start with a little argument that the newly weds Leonard and Penny will have.
In the promo that was released for the upcoming episode, Penny can be seen saying that Leonard once twisted his ankle while playing scrabble, further implementing that he lacks co-ordination to play sports. This will apparently not go down well with Leonard as he accompanied by Sheldon and the boys (Raj and Howard) will take up Fencing as a group hobby.
Imagine what happens when you put nerds in something as cool as fencing- circus, right? That is exactly what is going to happen with some really funny lines being spoken between the boys and them looking like complete idiots. The synopsis, however, also mentions that their fencing instructor will be none other than Barry Kripke himself who will further create some tension. He will reportedly start to develop some feelings for Amy, which will further make Sheldon a bit uncomfortable. What will happen following this remains to be seen in the upcoming episode itself.
TV Line, on the other hand, reported that Raj’s stable and very first serious girlfriend Emily played by Laura Spencer has been promoted to a series regular. Until now, she has only been seen in a few episodes, but with her becoming a series regular, one can expect to see her drop in a here or there a couple of times. “The Big Bang Theory” airs Monday at 8pm on CBS.
