“The Big Bang Theory” has been on a successful run for the last eight seasons and currently, as the episodes in the ninth season progress ahead, we can’t help but think about all the characters that have made their mark in one way or other on the show. No matter who was introduced on the show left, leaving a mark upon the audience. Despite all this there are a few characters that we would like to see, and introducing them at this point could bring in something really exciting.
According to Cinema Blend, Simon Helberg, who plays the role of Howard, was the one who wishes to see a character enter the TV series and it is none other than his character’s father Sam Wolowitz. For all those who have been religiously following the series will know that Howard never knew who his father was because he left Howard and his mother at a very young age.
Given the circumstances that Howard has never really met his father, Simon believes that it would be interesting to see if his character could at some point happen to meet his estranged father Sam Wolowitz.
Luckily, before Howard’s mother Debbie passed away last season, he came to know about what really happened and is also aware that his father Sam had another family when he left them. He is also aware of Sam leaving the second family too, which makes it even more interesting to see if Howard will ever approach the other family or not. Either this or maybe Howard could somehow run into Sam after all these years and result in an awkward yet hilarious situation.
Since “The Big Bang Theory” has been introducing other character’s parents, letting Howard meet his father could also happen in near future. IGN on the other hand reviewed “The Perspiration Implementation” and mentioned that the episode didn’t really have a great start and that the guys taking up fencing was not too appealing as well.
“The Big Bang Theory” airs on Monday at 8pm on CBS.
