“Big Brother” is brewing up with an all-new cast in Season 17. The reality series will be revealing the new faces to live inside the house and mingle with their co-stars on Tuesday, June 16. Meanwhile, host Julie Chen slammed rumors that the upcoming season of the reality series will be an all-star cast.
“Big Brother” Season 17 will feature brand new faces and strangers who never met each other prior to the show, host Julie Chen told Entertainment Tonight in an exclusive tour inside the newly renovated house. This is against speculations that the upcoming season will be another All-Stars cast.
The new contestants of “Big Brother” Season 17 will be revealed on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 on CBS. Chen also shared a copy of her opening line for the reality series, which reads: “Tonight the marathon battle for a half-million dollars begins. New house, new house guests, and a brand new twist that is sure to keep everyone on their toes and scrambling all summer long.”
Chen also gave an exclusive sneak peek at the different rooms inside the new “Big Brother” house, including a nightclub-themed bedroom, which had chains to serve as its curtains, Inquisitr cited. The new house is also packed with Plexiglass mirrors and a bigger kitchen table, which seemingly hints that reality series is encouraging deeper conversations and bonding moments between contestants.
“Big Brother” Season 17 will also feature an indoor hammock to go along with the outdoor hammock to foster more space for the contestants. The house also comes with a spacious bathroom and a “Skybridge” with additional seating capacities.
Carter Matt also noted that there could possibly be less booze for the new housemates this season, as Allison Grodner has limited the number of alcohol being provided to the contestants.
Be sure to watch out “Big Brother” Season 17 two-night premiere on June 24 and June 25 on CBS. Stay tuned on Movie News Guide (MNG) for more updates.
