Stan Lee has dropped yet another big news, as he confirmed that there will be a sequel to the Disney/Marvel movie, “Big Hero 6.” Is Tadashi still alive and will he become the villain in “Big Hero 7?” Read on to learn more about this scoop.
“Big Hero 6” fans, it looks like your wish has come true! Marvel executive producer, Stan Lee has just confirmed that the company is in the works of making a “Big Hero 6” sequel.
“After Ant-Man, we’re going to start playing around with Doctor Strange, the Black Panther, the Inhumans, and then we have to come back for Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Big Hero 6, The Avengers, Captain America,” he told Postmedia Network via Toronto Sun during the Gillette/”Stark Industries” event.
It is really not much of a surprise to hear that Disney is planning to make a sequel to Baymax and Hiro’s story, especially after “Big Hero 6” garnered $651 million worldwide. The movie became such a success that it was named as the highest grossing animated movie of 2014, IGN reported.
This news makes some fans wonder what “Big Hero 7” will bring to the table. According to Day Herald, Hiro’s brother, Tadashi, who was killed during the lab explosion did not die and may actually come back as the villain.
The outlet cited that Tadashi’s body was never recovered during the incident and if “Big Hero 6” fans could remember, Baymax kept on repeating the phrase, “Tadashi’s here.” Tadashi will allegedly transform into Sunfire, who is also known as the Uncanny Avenger. Tadashi has lost all of his human memories and will fight against Hiro, Baymax, and the rest of the team.
Meanwhile, Genesis Rodriguez, the voice behind the character Honey Lemon in “Big Hero 6,” previously spoke with Screen Rant and aired her thoughts of doing a sequel.
“There’s rumblings of something else happening… I doubt that they wouldn’t want another one. It was a huge success,” she said.
