Billboard revealed that the sold out concert of BIGBANG in the iconic Staples Center, Los Angeles last Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, made it to the top 10 concerts across the globe if talking about total ticket sales, as reported by All K-Pop. Who are the other artists in the list? Huge, worldwide, and beloved stars such as Shania Twain, AC/DC, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, and Marc Anthony.
As it can be noticed, they are Western artists, hence, BIGBANG is the only Asian performer to get in the top ten list. Billboard released the ticket sales which showed the group’s concert amounted to $1,715,587 of ticket sales and it was attended by 13, 361 fans.
To have a sold-out concert in another country is a huge milestone and to have that concert recognized as one of the highest grossing in the world is phenomenal.
Their LA concert is included in the North American leg of their MADE world tour which began last Oct. 2, 2015 in Las Vegas. This leg ended on Oct. 13, 2015, in Canada.
For fans who want to relive the MADE concert they went to, DramaFever has a great treat for them. They have already announced of airing a concert documentary for the KPop group, according to StreamDaily. They will kick off their original production, BIGBANG: MADE 2015 Concert this coming Nov. 11, 2015.
The documentary will feature the all-boy band in their latest United States tour such as their performances in New Jersey, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. The viewers will both witness the on-stage and their before seen backstage moments.
