To the world, it’s “Happy Father’s Day”, but to some rare heartless people it’s “Happy Abandonment Day.” Read on for more details.
The famous musician and actor Bill Hudson has slammed his famous children, Kate and Oliver Hudson, saying he no longer considers the two his own children. The father, Bill reacted after Oliver posted a disrespectful message on social media to his biological dad on Father’s Day, saying “Happy Abandonment Day.”
“I had five birth children, but I now consider myself a father of three. I no longer recognize Oliver and Kate as my own.” Bill said to the media.
Bill was married to Goldie Hawn, the mother of Kate and Oliver, in 1976 and their relationship ended in 1980. Hawn then tied the knot with Kurt Russell in 1983. According to Bill and Hawn’s 38-year-old son Oliver, he only considers Russell as his father.
“That was like a dagger to the heart. It’s time for the truth to come out. It’s over,” Bill told the Daily Mail at a hotel near his ranch home in Malibu, California.
Bill, filled with anger, went on saying that if the plan was not premeditated, Oliver could have called him up and clarified what he had in his mind. But he had chosen a photograph (depicting Bill with Oliver and Kate when they were little school-goers) and posted on Father’s Day with his offending comments.
According to Bill, Oliver has so far lived in the shadow of his mother and sister. He said that it was their plan to be in the headlines. He added that Oliver and Kate have succeeded making him out of their lives. Hence, he does not want to see anyone of them again.
Bill has asked Kate and Oliver not to use the “Hudson” name. He also blamed their mother Hawn for ‘poisoning’ them against him. He went on saying that both are dead to him and he is mourning their loss although they are still walking on earth.
Kate’s role, on the contrary, is at par with her brother Oliver to show down to her biological dad. On Father’s Day, she posted on social media expressing thankful note and love to her mother’s present spouse Russell saying “Happy Father’s Day. I love you to the moon and back.”
