Girls’ Generation, the renowned girl band from South Korea is back in news after the release of their latest album “Lion Heart”. This album is far more sensational as everyone thought the exit of Jessica Jung, one of the vocalist, might affect the band. Read on to find out more about the band and the chartbuster “Lion Heart.”

The contributor and critic of Billboard, Jeff Benjamin, mentioned in his reviews that even after the exit of Jessica from band, Girls’ Generation have paved a new path in the direction of music and have come up with the acceptance of the change. Benjamin made it a point to mention how other performers rose vocally after the departure of Jung.

Further, adding to the praises he said, “It’s a decision that further shows how Girls’ Gen is embracing change in their eighth year together and that losing a member can lead to refreshing change”, as stated on kpopstarz.

The critic described Lion Heart’s music as sugary piece of bubblegum pop. He liked the experiments Girls’ Gen did with groovy bass and brass mixed with funky pop. The title track released on 18th August with the rest of the songs scheduled to come out the following day.

The K-pop performers have acclaimed several accolades in their journey of eight long years. Girls’ Gen is the first South Korean girl gang to achieve a double Platinum certification by  RIAJ. Their two albums have been top rated in the Japanese Oricon Albums Chart too. The band is immensely popular in South Asian countries and has a huge fan following. The group has been active since 2007.
