“The Blacklist” Season 3 Episode 8 “No. 108: Kings of the Highway” aired last Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015. In the fall finale, secrets were revealed, and alliances were tested as Elizabeth “Liz” Keen (Megan Boone) and Raymond “Red” Reddington’s (James Spader) final leg of their journey to clear Liz’s name became complicated after Red was abducted by several modern day highwaymen. Meanwhile, Tom Keen (Ryan Eggold), Harold Cooper (Harry Lennix), Charlene Cooper (Valarie Petiford) and Karakurt (Michael Massee) tried to elude Mr. Solomon’s (Edi Gathegi) men, while Deputy Attorney General Rave Wright (Adriene Lenox) got closer to the truth about Mr. Solomon. Read on to learn more about this episode.

The episode began with Raymond “Red” Reddington (James Spader) assuring Dembe Zuma (Hisham Tawfiq), who had stayed behind to pick up an important package that was to be used to clear Elizabeth “Liz” Keen’s (Megan Boone) name, that he and Liz would be alright without him.

However, they soon discovered that not everything would be alright after Red suddenly went missing after Liz freshened up at a gasoline station’s bathroom. It caused her to ask Mossad Agent Samar Navabi (Mozhan Marno) to trace Red’s burner phone for her. Samar then did so using FBI Special Agent Donald Ressler’s (Diego Klattenhoff) laptop, as she had slept with him the night before, and wiped her search history afterwards.

Later, at work, Ressler told Deputy Attorney General Raven Wright (Adriane Lenox) that he had learned that Mr. Solomon (Edi Gathegi) had been part of the CIA before and that Harold Cooper (Harry Lennix) had been the mole who had warned Liz and Tom Keen (Ryan Eggold) that the FBI was on their way to them.

Meanwhile, Ressler had FBI Computer Specialist Aram Mojtabai (Amir Arison) check his search history as he knew that it had been wiped recently. Samar then tried to stop Aram from doing so but lied by saying that she had used Ressler’s laptop while it was on his workstation.

Catching on the lie, after getting assurances that Liz would be protected if they brought her in, Aram told Ressler the truth, who promptly fired Samar. It was especially after learning that Samar had been the one who had tipped Liz and Tom off about them.

He then immediately deployed all his forces to West Virginia where Liz and Red were.

While this happened, the Coopers, Tom, and Karakurt (Michael Massee) were forced to go on the run after Solomon’s men showed up.

They then managed to hide in a tunnel, where Tom cut out a tracker chip from within Karakurt’s chest so that they could escape from Solomon.

Afterwards, they drove off to Lake Yvonne where they would be safe at a cabin, which Cooper later discovered was where his wife and a good friend of theirs had met up when they had an affair with each other before he had gotten sick.

Wright, on the other hand, paid Chairman Hitchen (Christine Lahti) a visit as she would be able to provide some answers for her regarding Solomon, as she had been CIA before. However, Hitchen shot her dead.

Back at the Cooper house, Solomon found a picture of the Coopers, with their friends in front of the cabin at Lake Yvonne.

Meanwhile, Red soon discovered that he was being held by a bunch modern day highwaymen called the Kings of the Road.

Liz, on her own and desperate to get Red back, flirted with one of the members of the gang , Jasper (Joe Tippett), who had towed Red’s truck to a junkyard, in order to discover where Red was being held.

Later on, she shot Jasper after he was tipped off that she and Red were on the FBI’s most wanted list, and negotiated with a gang member named Pablo (Luke Robertson).

She then went to Dembe and told him to give the “care package” and Jasper to Pablo in order to secure Red’s release.

Red then began to drive towards her, but stopped after Ressler and his unit came, as they had managed to follow one of the gang members from the hospital to the woods.

Dembe was then caught and Liz was finally arrested by Ressler.
