“The Blacklist” Season 3 Episode 7 “No.  86: Sir Crispin Crandall” aired last Thursday November 6 , 2015 at 10:00 PM on NBC. In this episode, the FBI Task Force, Raymond “Red” Reddington (James Spader) and Elizabeth “Liz” Keen (Megan Boone) worked together to get to a man named Andras Halmi before the Director (David Strathairn) and Mr. Solomon (Edi Gathegi) did. Meanwhile, Tom Keen (Ryan Eggold) continued on his warpath to bring Karakurt (Michael Massee) to Washinton DC so that he could testify to being the one who had set Liz up for some of the crimes she is being accused of. Read on to learn more about this episode.

Raymond “Red” Reddington (James Spader) called up FBI Special Agent Donald Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) and gave him a new case to solve which would also help them hopefully get rid of the Director who was settling in nicely at the task force. Red told them to investigate the mysterious disappearance of Andras Halmi, one of the Director’s (David Strathairn) right hand men, without alerting the Director to it.

In the spirit of inter agency cooperation, after looking into the matter, Ressler and the team told the Director that somebody was abducting the most brilliant minds in the world, always a male and a female, as if someone was building an ark of genius minds.

Based on the last one abducted, they realized that a woman named Dr. Anna Neehoff (Emily Dorsch) was going to be abducted next. Thankfully, they managed to rescue her and captured one of her abductors.

Meanwhile, Red, Dembe Zuma (Tawfiq Hisham) and Liz went to Montreal, where they met up with Marvin Gerard (fisher Stevens), in the building that Red was having built. However, the safety inspector kept on trying to shut them down.

Red then countered this by telling his girlfriend,an aspiring chef, that the inspector was building a restaurant just for her. This guaranteed them an entire day of not being interrupted by the inspector.

After discovering that the one who master minded the entire thing was the reclusive cryogenics billionaire Sir Crandall Crispin (Harris Yulin) , Liz, Dembe and Red left to meet up with him, as Red had struck a deal with Crispin in which he would allow him to refuel at a different hangar in order to avoid detection by the FBI, so that Red would be able to gain access to Crispin’s laboratory, which was also on his plane.

It turned out that Crispin abducted the most brilliant minds in the world, removed their brains and cryogenically preserved their bodies, so that they would be able to populate a utopian future society which Crispin was trying to create. Red then shot him dead and managed to get Halmi’s thumbs while narrowly avoiding Mr. Solomon (Edi Gathegi) and his men, and completely avoiding the FBI altogether, who, thanks to the security footage from the plane, managed to get a clearer pictures as to who the Director had been working with.

After realizing the Red was going to use Halmi’s thumbs to gain access to Halmi’s safety deposit box in a bank in Montreal, which would allow Red access to all of the Director’s assets, he hurried to Montreal.

However,he was too late as Red had managed to infiltrate the bank’s vaults as the building he had been having constructed was just beside the vaults.

Red then called the Director up, and asked him to exonerate Liz in exchange for his assets and money, but the Director refused.

Meanwhile, Tom Keen’s (Ryan Eggold) plan to get Charlie Volkens (Gregory Russell Cook) to pay attention to him by murdering his enforcer who had been sent to collect Asher Sutton’s (Peter Vack) debts worked as they were immediately tracked down, and the two men were forced to fight to the death. Tom won and finally got his wish to have an audience with Volkens.

Then, he confronted Karakurt (Michael Massee), and took out Volkens and his men, and dragged Karakurt’s unconscious body through the mud, as he was taking Karakurt back to Washington DC with him.

What do you think will happen when Tom brings Karakurt to DC in “The Blacklist”?  Let us know what you think in the comments below!
