The second season finale of NBC’s “The Blacklist” was a game changing episode. It made fans wonder what will be happening to FBI Agent Elizabeth “Liz” Keen (Megan Boone), as she went on the run with FBI’s Most Wanted, Raymond “Red” Reddington (James Spader). It was after discovering that she was the daughter of an infamous KGB agent, and as she had been framed for murdering a United States senator.
According to an interview that Boone had with Zap2It, fans of the show will note that the third season will be a “very different show” with a “very different dynamic” as FBI Elizabeth “Liz” Keen will now have to work outside of the law.
She also mentioned that the structure of the show will now be “very different”, as the task force, without Red, Liz and FBI Assistant Director Harold Cooper (Harry Lennix), to hold things in place, the Task Force has “imploded.”
However, it seems that Red and Liz will still be hunting down a criminal or two/ Spoiler TV has announced that the season premiere will be entitled “The Troll Farmer,” which begs the question as to who this exactly is.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the season will open with the pair on the run inside the country. Several challenges will also be in store for the pair. The two will have to separate from each other in order to evade the Task Force and every government agency in America.
As the third season will now be in very uncharted waters, will you still keep on watching “The Blacklist”? What do you think will be happening next to Red and Liz? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
