It seems like only yesterday that the fall television season began, but now, this week and next, most fall television shows will be going into what is known as the winter hiatus, which will allow the midseason entries to strut their stuff. In just a couple of days, NBC’s hit “The Blacklist” will also be going on a wintry break, but not before delivering an exciting fall finale, which will raise the stakes for everyone involved. WARNING: This article will contain spoilers of the upcoming fall finale of “The Blacklist.” Read on to learn more about what will be happening next on the show.
In the blink of an eye, the first half of the third season of “The Blacklist” will be ending in just a couple of days with a fall finale entitled “Kings of the Highway,” leaving fans and viewers to wonder whether this will be the end of Elizabeth “Liz” Keen’s (Megan Boone) fugitive days, especially as Tom Keen (Ryan Eggold) already has Karakurt in his custody, and has his assurance that he will help them clear her name.
Both the promotional video and the press release tease that Liz will be separated from Raymond “Red” Reddington (James Spader), and will come quite close to FBI Special Agent Donald Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff), who still wants to capture her.
However, Ressler is the least of Liz’s worries as the clip shows that Mr. Solomon (Edi Gathegi) will also be on the hunt for her.
The stakes will be piled high not just for Liz, Tom and Red, but for Mossad Agent Samar Navabi (Mozhan Marno), who, despite Ressler’s instructions not to help Liz, makes a bold move, and starts helping out Liz. This, of course, is a complete turnaround for Samar’s character, who, at the beginning of the season, was just as determined as Ressler to get her.
However, it may just be that the events in the previous episode may have softened her a little.
