Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are mostly preparing to take it to another level. Although, they both have always maintained that they are friends, but recent duet singing of “Hotline Bling” proves otherwise.
The NBC’s “The Voice” coaches Shelton and Stefani sang Drake’s recent hit “Hotline Bling” and totally rocked it. Shelton and Stefani were seen playfully flirting with each other on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.”
Stefani parted ways with singer Gavin Rossdale after 13 years of marriage. Shelton’s breakup from Lambert happened a month after that. Shelton and Lambert remained married for four years.
Sources of Hollywood Life informed that Shelton and Stefani want their relationship to not be the talk of the show “Voice.” They both love to talk to each other but keep divorce talks aside.
“Blake doesn’t really bring his divorce talk to her; he tries to make the day on the set fun by telling jokes and being a goofball. It’s more important for him that everyone is in a good mood. No drama!” the source said.
But that doesn’t make Shelton from realising that people are not going to let his divorce be. There is going to be talking and this year’s Country Music Association is going to be a bit awkward, given Shelton and Lambert both will be making an appearance.
Shelton jokingly told People Magazine, “There’s gotta be a joke about me and Miranda. [Co-host] Brad Paisley is not doing his job if he doesn’t look down there and go, ‘Haha!’ I mean, he’s gotta do it.”
He even added that recent mentor Rihanna is awesome and he is trying so much to flirt with her. He added, “I was coming up with our couple name. Blihanna was one of them. I tried Rake.”
