The Kings of Suburbia and frontman Bon Jovi will hype the crowd of Stanley Park this summer. The rock superstar will take his music along with his band at Brockton Field. The news surfaced online after a teaser was posted on Urban Forest Club.
A report from CBC News said the poster posted on the said website showed a man any fan would recognize as Bon Jovi to play at the park on August 22. The poster was posted on Wednesday but until news have been confirmed, fans are asked to check back on the site on June 16 for further details.
Although the news is yet to be officially confirmed, a tour company based in the United States has already been in full force advertising the concert. Fans are offered a pre-show question and answer with Bon Jovi along with a 2-night stay in Westin Bayshore. The deal was said to be valued at US$1995 and would also include photo ops and other extras aside from getting a seat at the concert.
Runway Tours announced the ticket package would be available on sale on June 12 starting at 9 A.M. PT.
On the other hand, we didn’t see the announcement posted on Bon Jovi’’s own website. However, it did list a new tour that would start on September 14 in Shanghai.
In a separate report from The Strait Times, Bon Jovi was said to be performing on September 20 at the Singapore Grand Prix along with The Sam Willows who will take the stage on September 18. The announcement was revealed by the Grand Prix promoter on Thursday. Other performances also include Jimmy Cliff and Dirty Loops along with Spandau Ballet, Maroon 5 and Pharrell Williams.
The venue for the performances will be held in three different locations and tickets will be sold according to where fans would watch the concert. Previously, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber and Jennifer Lopez also performed in the post-race of the Singapore Grand Prix.
