As the tenth season of the procedural crime drama “Bones” draws near, more and more exciting updates on what will be happening in the season are coming out. We scored some scoop about the guest star and the show’s historic 200th episode. Read on to learn more about the juicy details.
First off, it has been learned that a very familiar face will be joining “Bones” for an episode. According to TV Line, Phyllis Logan, who is best known for her portrayal of Mrs. Hughes, the intrepid housekeeper of “Downton Abbey,” will be appearing in the sixth episode of the season, which will air sometime in November. She will be portraying a character named Sandra Zins, a millionaire whose housekeeper was murdered. She does cooperate with the investigation. However, it is revealed that her motives to help out are not so pure, as she is hiding a secret of her own.
TV Line also gave out some of the titles of the upcoming episodes to give the viewers an idea of what kind of cases the “Bones” team will be solving. Some of the released titles include “The Corpse at the Convention” and “The Lost Love in a Foreign Land.”
In another TV Line article, the pair, Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and FBI Agent Seely Booth (David Boreanaz), will be going undercover, complete with aliases, at a crossword puzzle tournament.
The show’s executive producer, Stephen Nathan, also told TV Line that due to the fact that Booth was arrested and imprisoned for some time, he will definitely be experiencing post traumatic stress disorder, as Booth has never been betrayed before by the institutions that he believes and protects. This will be seen throughout the season, but it won’t be “overwhelming”. Booth will have to relearn how to trust in those institutions that betrayed him. This will take him some time, and viewers alike will be able to see how will cope with that.
The show’s 200th episode, a historic milestone in the show’s history, will be airing during the tenth season. Moreover, it was revealed that this will “explore what Booth and Brennan might have been like in another world.” However, this will not be happening within a dream sequence, and it will not be set in an alternate reality.
