Another television season is just around the corner, bringing back old and familiar faces back to the small screen. One of these shows returning for its tenth run is “Bones.” Read on for further details.
In the season finale of “Bones,” FBI Agent Seely Booth (David Boreanaz) had been shot and wounded after he was attacked in his own home. In the last few minutes of the finale, Booth was recovering from his wounds in a hospital room, but he was handcuffed to his bed as his assailants were said to be FBI Agents.
According to TV Line, there will be a time jump when the season opens. Booth will have been in jail for four months already. However, executive producer Stephen Nathan explained that there will be a welcome lead and a break in the case.
Meanwhile, both Booth and Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) will be dealing with the emotional aftermath of their experience in the previous season. The one who will be most affected will be Booth, as he was the one who landed in jail. Nathan stated to TV Line that Booth has “never been betrayed by the people and institutions that he trusts and has risked his life for.”
One may wonder where the couple and their daughter will live now, as their house is currently damaged and riddled by bullets. There is nothing to fear with regards to that aspect as Brennan will be giving Booth a new place as a coming-home present.
Moreover, Nathan added that a baby will be heading its way to the show. Then again, how and from the baby will come are currently kept under wraps.
Another good thing to look forward to in the tenth season is that we might actually learn what Angela Montenegro’s (Michaela Conlin) real name is.
