“Boruto: Naruto The Movie” features Momoshiki and Kinshiki of the Otsutsuki Clan and because of this, it has opened doors for these two main antagonists for a new live-action movie under Lionsgate. Is there any truth to this at all? Read below to find out:
In “Boruto: Naruto The Movie” Naruto, Boruto, Sarada and Sasuke will fight against Kinship and Momoshiki. Momoshiki has the ability to absorb the chakra, and in turn, this makes attacks to him useless. Kinshiki joined him and later on sacrificed himself so Momoshiki will gain more powers to fight off Naruto and all other of the ninjas.
Hence the title of the movie, “Boruto: Naruto The Movie” will focus more on Naruto’s son, Boruto. It will showcase the strained father and son relationship as Boruto doesn’t feel like he’s getting enough attention from his father and because of that, he chooses to get trained with Sasuke Uchiha, Naruto’s friend and also rival, just for proving himself to his father.
Currently, Lionsgate is under negotiation to acquire another live-adaptation of the anime series. As per reports, Michael Gracey is set to direct the film while Avi Arad will be producing it. However, no one has confirmed this news yet.
“Boruto: Naruto The Movie” is coming to U.S. theaters on October 10, 2016. The movie has already been released in Japan on August 7, 2015, and it managed to beat box office records. It also earned more than “The Last: Naruto the Movie.”
