Weekly Shonen Jump recently showed us more character designs of the highly anticipated “Boruto: Naruto the Movie.” It showed Boruto in his pre-Genin outfit, an all-black outfit with red accents around his collar and sleeves. Sarada, on the other hand, is wearing a red outfit which is similarly designed to what her mother, Sakura, wore in her youth. The art also shows an all-new white-blue character known as Mitsuki. Read on for more details.
“Boruto: Naruto the Movie” will introduce a new character named, Mitsuki, who lives in a different village but studies in Konoha. Though the ninja world is currently savoring the advantages of peace brought about by the Great Ninja War, one could not ignore that the existence of a new foreign character freely moving inside Konoha as nothing less than mysterious and troublesome.
Aside from the strange arrangement Mitsuki has in the choice of school, one also notices the eerily reminiscent features of Orochimaru. “Perhaps Mitsuki is working with Orochimaru, or could Mitsuki be the legendary Sannin’s new vessel?” asks IDigitalTimes.
The plot of “Boruto: Naruto the Movie” revolves around Naruto’s son, who shows resentment toward his well-renowned and beloved father by trying to start a legacy much greater than the deeds Naruto gained back when he was young. He plans to surpass his father by becoming Sasuke’s apprentice, an Uchiha who was depicted as Uzumaki Naruto’s archenemy
Aside from the usual Sasuke, Naruto, Sakura, and the three characters above, this movie will aslo be including other characters like Inojin Yamanaka (Sai and Ino’s kid) and Himawari (Boruto’s younger sister).
“Konohamaru Sarutobi (Hidenori Takahashi), Shikamaru Nara (Showtaro Morikubo), Kurotsuchi Tsuchikage (Hana Takeda), Chōjūrō Mizukage (Kouki Miyata), Darui Raikage (Ryota Takeuchi) and Gaara Kazekage (Akira Ishida)” will also join the film reported by Christian Today.
With Sasuke serving as Boruto’s sensei, will anything good happen? Would Boruto turn out to be the next villain? Can Mitsuki be Orochimaru’s new vessel? Tell us what you think, we’d love to hear it.
