The official website of Japanese animated film, “Boruto: Naruto The Movie” has launched the first full trailer and second teaser on Wednesday. The movie, which is directed by Hiroyuki Yamashita, is slated to hit the big screens in Japan on Aug. 7, 2015. The film is based on the Japanese manga series “Naruto,” written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto. Read on.
The names of some cast members have been revealed that also include Yuko Sanpei, Hiroki Yasumoto, Saori Hayami, Ryūichi Kijima, Daisuke Namikawa, Atsushi Abe and Kenshō Ono, just to name a few. According to Anime News Network, Sanpei plays the character of Boruto, Yasumoto plays Kinshiki, Hayami as Himawari Uzumaki, Kijima as Mitsuki, Namikawa as Momoshiki, Abe as Inojin Yamanaka, and Ono as Shikadai Nara.
A new art cover, which is released recently, has generated curiosities to identity the figure at the back, and the reason behind having Rinnegans embedded into his hands. The mysterious character having two protruded dots between his eyebrows seems to be a descendent of Kaguya Ootsutsuki.
The trailers are intended to feature a new generation of “Ninja,” in particular Naruto’s son Boruto with his teammate Sarada, daughter of Sasuke, including Mitsuki. They are the disciples of Sasuke during the Chūnin Exams. A mysterious man named Momoshiki will also be shown who hails with an attack on the Konoha Village. The trailers also feature the theme song “Diver” that is composed by a rock band Kana-Boon.
According to Christian Today, it is also recently announced that a special comedy manga companion will be launched two weeks prior the movie release with an objective to prepare the fans before they watch the full movie.
Two million copies of an official book titled “Official Movie Book Hiden: Zai no Sho” will be circulated to the audience of “Boruto: Naruto The Movie.” The book is a spin-off of the “Naruto: The Official Character Data Book” series.
