The supercouple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are planning to settle in the United Kingdom after selling their New Orleans mansion. Some reports claim that they are vigorously looking at other properties in London as Jolie wants to spread her wings into politics. Read below to get a scoop of it.
According to MailOnline, Pitt and Jolie are looking to buy a home across the pond in London so that the 40-years old actress and filmmaker can become close to the politics of the European Union. It is reportedly said that the Hollywood power couple is interested in a seven-bedroom mansion in Westminster, which is said to be adequately big for the pair and their six children. However, they have not yet fixed the deal for this $39 million residence.
“They are househunting in London. It’s a huge investment. Neither of them wants to throw down that amount of cash. Angie wants to immerse herself in E.U. politics,” a source told the publication.
Jolie and Pitt are said to be in touring the property during their last visit in London in June. But the sources say that they have started their search for home as early as last year. However, according to TMZ, the famous Hollywood stars, who were married last year, are selling their New Orleans’ historic French Quarter (consists of five bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathroom home), which they had purchased a year later for $3.5 million. After the 2005 disaster mishap in New Orleans, the couple came to the town and actively got involved in recreating the community. It is also said that they are looking for another mansion, but the couple would remain embedded in the community.
Meanwhile, the couple’s upcoming movie “By the Sea” is being selected by the American Film Institute for premiering at the opening night of AFI Fest 2015, as reported by Deadline. The annual festival is going to start on November 5 this year.
