Hollywood actor Brad Pitt and wife Angelina Jolie are saying goodbye to their home in New Orleans. This was after the couple has reportedly put their mansion on sale for US$6.5 million.
The 1830s historic mansion during the French period was listed for sale on Tuesday, reported People. It has five bedrooms, an elevator, three and a half baths and a gourmet kitchen. It also has a two-story guest house separated from the mansion.
Latter and Clum listing agent Nycholas Hynes said the property is beautiful with off-street parking. Hynes didn’t name who the current owners were but we are pretty sure it was Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The listing agent also said that the property was a real gem during the French Quarter.
Last year, Brad Pitt was caught to have an exchange of beers to his neighbor Matthew McConaughey through their balconies. After realizing they were actually neighbors, Pitt went inside his mansion and took a beer and lobbed it to Matthew who opened it and took a sip.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been looking to earn a US$3 million profit after selling the mansion in New Orleans, Louisiana. The two moved in to the city after Hurricane Katrina struck the area in 2005. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie established the Make It Right foundation to help build houses for families who were left homeless after the disaster. A total of 150 environmentally friendly homes were built in the area.
In a report from TMZ, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie reportedly bought the property at US$6.5 million. The couple’s representative declined to comment whether or not the couple has listed their property in New Orleans on sale. The listing of the New Orleans mansion of celebrity couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie came days after rumors came out saying Angelina caught Brad cheating on her, explaining the mysterious bruise under actor’s eye.
