Brad Pitt has become a part of the 5 decade club as he turned 50 yesterday on December 18th Wednesday. Although there is no indication as to how the star, father of 6 and humanitarian will be celebrating his 50th birthday (perhaps with his and his wife’s, Angelina Jolie’s award winning wine?). Regardless, the AARP is doing a bit of celebration on his behalf.
Since Brad is now old enough to join the organization, the AARP Honored him by putting him on the cover of their Magazine, the AARP to help him ring in the big 5-O.
So how does the Hollywood star feel about hitting the 50 year mark? Here is what he had to say:
“I have a handful of close friends and I have my family and I haven’t known life to be any happier,” he said. “I’m making things. I just haven’t known life to be any happier.”
Brad has had a string of successful movies, including the very recent and the awards favorite, 12 years a Slave. He will also be starring in a World Wars 2 drama, “Fury” which is set for release in November of 2014.
Other accomplishments of the 50 year old include, “Interview with the Vampire,” “Se7en,” “Twelve Monkeys,” “Fight Club,” “Ocean’s Eleven,” “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” (with now-wife Jolie), “Inglorious Bastards,” “Moneyball” and “World War Z.
