So Why does Brad Pitt Not Believe in God?

They say too much of anything is bad and this principle could apply to literally anything, even religion. Ask Brad Pitt about why does he stick to not believing in the almighty and he will give a pretty straightforward answer.

According to Daily Mail, Brad revealed himself to be an atheist having let go of his strict Christian upbringing. The Hollywood star revealed that he grew up in Southern Baptist household with him being told about things that he should and shouldn’t do. His parents wish of having a God fearing son in a way proved to be otherwise as it drifted Brad away from religion even more. Talking about his father, Brad mentioned that his father was very strict since they were trying to raise him as a follower of Christ but despite that he mentions his father having a kinder side. The one thing that his parents were trying to inculcate in him was to be able and to be able to carry out things for himself.

Brad also spoke about his approach towards his six children. In case of the boys, he tends to be a bit of a disciplinarian while with the girls he doesn’t have to be that. But mainly his role as a father is to show his children the way around and to guide them with whatever they want to do with their lives. However wife Angelina Jolie does have faith in the superior being as she mentioned once that there is something which is greater than all of us and which unites us.

Inquisitr added that Brad was being raised with “Christian Guilt” and the reason his parents were doing that because they wanted Brad to behave. Quite honestly the most important thing for any parent is to teach your kids about being a good person first and true religion does play an important role in everyone’s life, it still isn’t the only important thing.
