Bradley Cooper is all praises for co-star Jennifer Lawrence. The actor feels that theirs is a match that simply made in the acting heaven. The talented duo has acted in “Joy,” a movie made by David O Russell.
The film “Joy” is loosely based on the life of Joy Mangano, inventor of the Miracle Mop. This is the third time Lawrence and Cooper have teamed up with Russell.
The pair had earlier acted together in Russell’s earlier films “Silver Linings Playbook” and “American Hustle.” The former cemented the bond between Cooper and Lawrence.
The American actor said that perhaps “Dancing with the Stars” set an example for their working together so amicably. Cooper said so to Deadline.
Cooper also added that though do not talk very often, yet when he was in Boston for the film “Joy”, they simply went on and on. The conversation between them was never-ending.
Cooper played the character of a QVC executive in the movie “Joy.” His character’s name is Neil Walker in the movie who was responsible for giving a big break to Mangano.
It is interesting to note here that initially Cooper almost said no as he did not he was right for the role.
According to Design Trend, though the actor was reluctant in the beginning, Russell felt that there was something in Cooper that made him a good choice for the role.
Cooper thought the role could be better suited to an older actor. What was hilarious that he pitched a particular actor’s name who coincidentally entered the lobby of the Greenwich Hotel at that particular moment.
Bradley Cooper feels that his works very well with David O Russell and understands that the director demands from a particular role. He feels an actor has to be vulnerable when he or she is working with this talented director.
