Bradley Cooper must be having the time of his life right now! Earning Oscar nominations for three years consecutively and acting in multimillion dollar films, which are getting worldwide critical acclaim, basically the dream of every actor’s life.
Recently, “Joy,” his latest film from David O. Russell production, is all set to hit the theaters on Christmas, opposite Jennifer Lawrence. Before that he snagged some time for an interview, and talked about his new movie and his ‘instant chemistry’ with JLaw.
Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence made their first appearance together on silver screens with “Silver Linings Playbook” and their amazing chemistry actually won hearts. After that, they appeared in “American Hustle,” another venture of David O. Russell.
This year, they paired up again in “Joy” which is entitled for a Christmas release. But initially, he actually tried to talk himself out of the leading role from the movie, which definitely will turn out to be smashing.
According to Deadline, Cooper confessed that even if he has doubts about himself or how he will perform, Russell has a good amount of trust on him and maybe that is the process, that keeps him going. Whichever role he gets chosen for, are basically designed for him but there are times, he is afraid of taking chances. Very nicely explained!
As for his amazing chemistry with Jennifer, he quipped, “I wonder if these guys who do “Dancing with the Stars” like have a connection forever. I really do think that really provided the basis by which we can work together. We don’t talk often, but when I showed up in Boston for “Joy,” then all of a sudden it was like we never stopped. We just started where we left off, and that’s rare. It’s just easy to look at her and feel like I am telling the truth.”
