Bravo has done it again when it comes to interesting and unusual reality TV plots. The all-new docuseries “Friends to Lovers” premieres on Jan. 12, 2015 at 10:00 p.m. on Bravo. Read on to know what this show is all about.

The docuseries is all about a social experiment if best friends can be lovers. It will show five pairs of BFFs that will start dating. It will be evaluated if starting as friends can establish a strong foundation in a romantic relationship.

Through the whole season, the pairs are going to deal with awkward kisses, revelation to family and friends and jealousy. Some take advantage of their longtime friendship while others want to start from scratch.

The first pair is Alex Goldman and Kristen Ruby. Their friendship lasted for eight years after trying to have a date once. Ruby realized that Goldman was just a friend. However, Goldman pursued her quietly despite Ruby’s point of view about their relationship. Ruby is the type of girl who is not compulsive with intimate relationships.

Charley Walters and Darion Lowenstein are close friends for two years. Both of them consider themselves as singles because their relationship is just platonic. One of them fears to fall in love.

Greg Plitt and Melanie Marden have known each other for seven years. They are open to try putting their relationship into the next level because both want to have a longterm romantic relationship.

Jin Mosley and Sydney Hall consider themselves as singles but admitted having feelings with each other. Sydney is always surrounded by women while Jin just came from divorce. It will be definitely challenging for them.

The fifth pair is Stefan Lienhard and Marshana Ritchie. They dated long ago but decided to remain friends. It is time for them to let go of their pride after years of romantic signals and try the next level of their relationship.

“Friends to Lovers” is produced by Fenton Bailey from World of Wonder. Executive Producers are Tom Campbell, Angela Rae Berg and Randy Barbato.
