Bridget Jones’ Baby: Darcy, Jones Together Again; Who’s The Baby’s Dad? Now Patrick Dempsey Joins Cast

Who’s the baby’s father? Fans know that Bridget Jones is having a baby. The thing is, Patrick Dempsey is in the movie as well, could he be the baby’s dad? Could it be Mark Darcy? Read on.

According to Standard, “The Edge of Reason” featured Bridget (Renee Zellweger) and her engagement with Mark Darcy (Colin Firth). Moreover, she have no bling on her finger during Thursday evening filming.

Laine Gossip reported that Firth has a sweet moment with a woman in which maybe a scene of the said film. He is wearing the famous Mark Darcy overcoat. There are other shots of Bridget seems grumpy. Is she lonely? Or maybe, unhappy that Mark is having a random affair? Is she not having Darcy’s child?

The famous actress used to gain 30lbs for her role as Bridget Jones, but this time it’s different, her figure has trimmed down in the third “Bridget Jones Diary,” film.

According to the first mentioned article,  we just have to think about the fans’ uproar if ever they find out that the couple wouldn’t end up with each other and the baby is not Mark’s. The same with the outrage when they found out about the film, in any case the fans should be ready for anything.

The third “Bridget Jones” movie just filming started on time as the actress; Zellweger was spotted filming scenes with Firth in a part with Patrick Dempsey the newcomer in the franchise. The film also stars Sally Philips as Jone’s best friend, named Shazza.

The story is not yet revealed, that is why all the public has seen the images circulating online which leads to more questions for “Bridget Jones” fanatics.

The movie is the sequel to the “Edge of Reason,”  It is written by David Nicholls, however, it was adapted to Helen Fielding’s third novel, “Mad About Boy.”

The film will be directed by Sharon Maguire, she was also the first to direct “Bridget Jones Diary,” in 2001.
