“Bridget Jones’s Baby,” the third installment in the Bridget Jones franchise has been shooting in the UK for a while and just recently a couple of photos were released that showed Renée Zellweger holding a baby while filming with co-star Colin Firth. Recent updates now confirm the release date of the movie.
According to Vine Report, the Renée Zellweger, Colin Firth and Patrick Dempsey starrer will release next year on September 16th. The Universal Pictures produced movie has added Patrick Dempsey as the new lover of Bridget Jones as Hugh Grant who was a part of the previous two movies is not a part of this one.
Recent photos have constantly been giving an idea of how smooth the filming has been going and just how amazing the cast still looks even though all of them are returning to work on the movie after almost more than a decade.
Just few days back, a string of photos revealed Patrick Dempsey’s first look as he looked like a guy who knows his way around bikes. He was seen shooting a cute scene with Renée as he kissed her on the cheeks and there was certainly some PDA involved.
Colin, who’s reprising his role as Mark Darcy, was also seen standing in one of the photos looking at the couple though it is believed in the scene Mark will enter once Patrick’s character leaves. Going by the photos, one thing is clear that Mark and Bridget won’t be seen together for the first part at least and it remains a mystery who is the father of Bridget’s baby.
MailOnline added that last time Renée Zellweger was seen with a faux baby bump but in the new photos she isn’t wearing one, which means that the cast is currently shooting for a scene that will take place early in the movie or maybe after the baby is born. Till new updates about the plot come out, regular release of on-set photos should suffice with how the shoot is going on.
