Pop sensation Britney Spears has canceled two shows after being left in the worst shape than what we have originally thought.

After Britney fell off stage during her show in Las Vegas, the singer has already reset her scheduled shows in other venues. Britney Spears fell while walking on her high heels on Wednesday night’s performance. This was during her performance of her hit song “You Drive Me Crazy”. Britney thanked her dancers and the members of the band who played with her all night. After the climax of her dance, she accidentally tripped while on high heels, which caused her ankle to be injured.

After the incident, Britney was rushed to the hospital for immediate medical intervention. A press release statement was posted saying, “Britney injured her ankle during her performance Wednesday evening and her doctor has advised her not to perform Friday and Saturday evening so that she may heal,” according to Billboard.

Britney Spears took to Twitter to thank her fans for the support and their well wishes. She tweeted, “Had a little scare on stage tonight with my ankle but I’m ok!”

On the safe side, Britney is alright and is set to take the stage for the “Piece of Me” shows scheduled in different venues. According to Billboard, Britney has been pulling around US$15 million annually for the said show. Meanwhile, AXIS Box Office and Ticketmaster has already issued refunds and exchanges for the rescheduled shows. As far as we know, no other dates for the Britney shows have been canceled.

We do hope that Britney Spears recover soon enough to finish her shows across Vegas and to be able to make it to the Billboard Music Awards.
