Britney Spears never wanted Kristen Stewart or Jennifer Lawrence to play her in a biopic about her life, a new report revealed. There were rumors doing rounds that the singer was looking for somebody to play her in a movie.
Gossipcop website recently made it known that OK! Magazine had reportedly fabricated the story that Britney Spears was looking to get Kristen Stewart or Jennifer Lawrence to play her in a biopic that was written about her life and rise to celebrity.
OK! Magazine had reported the news that Spears and her father Jamie Spears were looking to make a biopic on Spears’s life which would be done in the same vein as Ray, What’s Love Got to Do With It, and other biopics. They story also reported that Britney wanted Kristen Stewart, Jennifer Lawrence, or Natalie Portman to play her in the movie. The story was debunked by the exclusive report by Gossipcop that the singing star was not looking to make a biopic at all. No such plans were under way and a biopic was not being planned at all.
While the story sounded fascinating it was a fabricated piece of news, Gossipcop reported. The story was trashed by a source close to Spears.
It seems like OK! Magazine has been on Spears’s case these days. OK! Magazine had also made news recently when they had reported that Britney’s father was trying to make her date Collin Farrell. Apparently, that news story was also denied by Britney Spears’s associates. Spears denied ever wanting to date Collin Farrell. Sources close to Britney told the press that she had never been forced to date anyone by her dad.
Britney Spears is a big name in the music industry and it is obvious to everybody as to why OK! Magazine will want to do fake news pieces on her. According to Wikipedia, Rolling Stone reported story of success as one of the Top 25 Teen Idol Breakout Moments of all time. VH1 ranked her eleventh on their “100 Greatest Women in Music” list in 2012 and Billboard named her the sexiest woman in music. The lady is a big name and OK! Magazine wants to cash in on it.
