“Brooklyn Nine-Nine” Season 2 Episode 16 “The Wednesday Incident” will air on Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015, at 8:30 p.m. on FOX. The captain is in a bad mood, and Jake wants to get to the bottom of this. Before we get into the details, here’s a quick recap of what happened last week.
In “Windbreaker City” (air date: Feb. 8, 2015), the squad was invited by Homeland Security in a joint exercise with the ATF and the U.S. Marshalls. Charles (Joe Lo Truglio) thought this was good timing for Jake (Andy Samberg) to get over getting dumped by Sophia. During the training, however, Jake found their role as “hostages” to be the lamest, as they only sat there to wait for the “rescuers,” so he changed the rules of the exercise. Their squad beat the “terrorists” group played by the ATF even before Homeland arrived.
Charles suggested that they take it up a notch by playing the bad guys next, so that they can beat the other groups as well. As it is, Kendrick (guest star Nick Kroll), the head of the training from Homeland, already didn’t like Jake, and by ruining this whole exercise, the squad was certainly not getting an invite back next year. And while they managed to take out almost everyone, Jake, however, got “shot” by Kendrick and the squad lost.
In the end, it didn’t matter much because while they were in the training, Jake found himself not thinking about Sophia. The final scene showed Jake returning Sophia a box of her stuff from his apartment. It’s truly over this time.
Spoiler Alert: “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” Season 2 Episode 16 “The Wednesday Incident” will air on Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015, at 8:30 p.m. on FOX.
Jake notices that the captain hasn’t been behaving his best lately, so in order to find out what’s causing this, he talks to someone who knows his boss best — Capt. Holt’s husband Kevin Cozner (guest star Marc Evan Jackson). In a spoiler scoop from E! Online, apparently, Jake will discover Holt’s love for spinning, as well as other stuff that are too personal and private.
Meanwhile, Charles will be dealing with a difficult suspect, a geriatric person, who is withholding his confession for a petty crime. However, whenever the girls are around, this suspect acts like he’s senile, prompting Amy to think that he’s adorable, and Charles is a bit harsh on him.
