Bruce Jenner Puts His Transition Docu-Series on Hold For Now
KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FLA. – Olympic champion and motivational speaker Bruce Jenner talks to KSC employees during opening ceremonies for Spaceport Super Safety and Health Day at KSC. Other speakers included Dr. Pamela Peeke, Navy Com. Stephen E. Iwanowicz and NASA’s Dr. Kristine Calderon. Later in the day, employees could visit many vendors’ exhibits featuring safety and health items. Super Safety and Health Day was initiated at KSC in 1998 to increase awareness of the importance of safety and health among the government and contractor workforce. The theme for this year’s event was “Safety and Health: A Winning Combination.”

Alongside reports of Bruce Jenner apparently planning to become a woman, there have also been reports of him planning to document his transition in a docu-series. However, in a latest report, the production of the said docu-series is being put on hold for a while.

TMZ reports that Bruce Jenner stopped the production of his transition docu-series due to the pressure of the series’ producers into rushing through the deal as they were hoping to air it sometime in May this year. And apparently for Jenner, rushing into things isn’t exactly helping his family, particularly his three sons in coping with his decision to change.

Aside from this, Jenner is still emotionally reeling from the fatal car crash he had last month. He feels that if he wants to proceed with his transition, he’d also have to deal with the impact the accident brought on to him and the people involved.

In response to the rumours of Jenner possibly not showing up in the 10th season of ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’, the series’ executive producer Jeff Jenkins said that Jenner is in the 10th season of the series “… all the way to the very end of it”. As for Jenner’s transition docu-series, Jenkins only said, “[There] is, to my knowledge, no series in production that, as we said, is its own series. That’s really the current situation. As of right now, there’s no ‘Keeping Up with Bruce Jenner’.”

Although, a source close to the docu-series’ production said that there is still a good chance that the docu-series will push through. However, circumstances being what they are, there is also a chance that Jenner will discontinue it. But despite the report of his transition docu-series being out on hold for now, Jenner’s supposed interview with Diane Sawyer regarding the matter will apparently proceed as scheduled.

Though Jenner still hasn’t personally addressed the transition rumors, Associated Press, as cited by Variety, asked his mother Esther Jenner regarding the issue. But she merely said, “I am at peace with what he is and what he’s doing.”
