We all know from “Breaking Bad” that Bryan Cranston is the one who knocks, and he definitely knocked it out of the park as Marvel villain “Mister Sinister,” in a new image that shows what Cranston would actually look like as the iconic Marvel villain. Read on for more details.
In a recent interview with Metro, Cranston revealed that he would like to play a Marvel baddie, and a ‘nasty’ one at that. Then, at the NYC Comic Con panel, we found out that Cranston has been eyeing the role of blue-skinned baddie “Mister Sinister.”
The internet, being the wonderful place that it is, likes to leave almost nothing to imagination so almost immediately we had a response from twitter user BossLogic, an artist who created an image of the “Breaking Bad” star as the near immortal villain, and does it look menacing. Mister Sinister, in the comics, is an “enhanced human” who is telekinetic and telepathic. Not only that, he can also shapeshift and has a prolonged lifespan (the character has been around since 1859 in Marvel lore). And he is blue. This would probably exactly what would happen if Professor X and Mystique had a baby, but, unfortunately, is not how Sinister was born.
But his appearance in the MCU might not be much of a stretch. One of Mister Sinister main allies is the Mutant Apocalypse, and he is appearing in the upcoming ‘X-Men: Age of Apocalypse” film.
Not only that, Mister Sinister has long-standing ties with “X-Men” character “Gambit,” and he is getting his own standalone movie in the MCU pretty soon. So if we cross our fingers and pray really hard to the powers that be in Marvel, we can hope to see a blue skinned Cranston pretty soon.
Twitter user @BossLogic has created many more images of popular actors touted for the next big comic character. Here, for example, as one of Vin Diesel as the Inhuman, Black Bolt.

Or the stately Benedict Cumberbatch in his upcoming role as the sorcerer supreme in Dr. Strange

And how can the comic nerds be truly satisfied without the gorgeous and lethal Ronda Rousey as Captain Marvel.
