Bryan Singer Shares Characters And Costumes Of ‘X-Men: Apocalypse;’ The Immortal Powerful Mutant Makes No Difference Between Humans And Mutants

X-Men 1 & 2 director Bryan Singer had a great comeback with the 2014 release, “X-Men: Days of Future Past” that inscribed a mammoth success in the box office than any other movie in the franchise till date. Read on for more details.

There is no iota of doubt that his 2014 success has paved the way for another sequel “X-Men: Apocalypse,” what fans and film critics consider to be a bigger sequel. It is because Singer already talked earlier that the next sequel would have “very different” characters.

According to Yahoo! Movies, Singer has claimed that the younger versions of the unique and well-established characters in the upcoming sequel will certainly flabbergast the viewers. The characters like Cyclops (Tye Sheridan), Storm (Alexandra Shipp), Nightcrawler (Kodi Smit-McPhee), and Jean Grey (Sophie Turner) will have very different representations compared to the earlier versions.

“These are very different characters than they were in the films X-Men 1, 2, and 3,” Singer told Yahoo! Movies.

He went on saying that the character of immortal mutant, Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac) himself would make the “biggest impression” on the moviegoers.

According to Singer, the earlier versions of “X-Men” always had a whirling concept of the fight between humans and mutants. However, in the upcoming film, Apocalypse will make no difference between humans and mutants. Being an insane powerful mutant bent on extreme devastation, he will only be seen distinguishing weak and strong.

“It deals with the concept of ancient mutantism, gods and men. It deals with issues that are global. He as a character is what is so ultimately compelling,” Singer added.

The director also talked about the costumes in the X-Men franchise. When he was questioned about the chance of seeing traditional colored costumes in the movie from the X-Men comic books, he did not refuse the possibility, which means we may finally see some colors.

A few days back, Movie News Guide revealed the identities of four horsemen – Psylocke (Olivia Munn), Angel (Ben Hardy), Storm (Alexandra Shipp) and Magneto(Michael Fassbender). Characters like Moira MacTaggert (Rose Byrne), Quicksilver (Evan Peters), Havok (Lucas Till) will again be seen in the “X-Men: Apocalypse.”
