“Visiting my mom and she’s doing great after breaking both her hips. She’s been mobile – she’s tough.” It seems that Caitlyn got her strength from her mother.” the caption said.

According to ET, a source said that Esther, 89, broke one of her hips a while back and that she broke the other one at a different time. The source added that Cait’s mom had undergone hip surgery and is now doing “surprisingly” well.

It will be recalled that after Caitlyn’s “big reveal” in Vanity Fair, Esther admitted that she had so much to learn about her daughter’s transition. She also said that she has been open to accepting her daughter’s new life.

In June, Esther told People: “It takes so much courage to do what she’s doing.” She also added that she wanted to give her daughter a big hug when she first saw her. She also admitted that her daughter’s transition takes some getting used to, but she will adjust. “I love her. And she’s happy. That’s all that matters,” she said.

On Oct. 15, 2015, Caitlyn took to Twitter and Instagram to show support for the GLAAD anti-bullying campaign. She showed off her purple manicure in a photo that she captioned: “I’m joining @glaad and taking a stand against bullying for #SpiritDay!”

Here’s the photo that she posted on Instagram:
