‘Captain America: Civil War’: Agent 13 Sharon Carter Will Have the Most Important Role in the Movie

We all know until now who is going to do what and which hero is siding with which team in “Captain America: Civil War.” One of the heroes in the movie who has not been talked about and has not quite yet gotten more significance in the MCU is Agent 13 aka Sharon Carter. However, recent updates reveal just why she is one of the most important characters in the movie. Read on for more details.

According to Mirror, Sharon Carter will be taking the center stage in “Captain America: Civil War” as she will have some serious responsibilities on her. In the promo art that was released, one could see Sharon standing next to Steve Rogers as his team gears itself up to go head on with Tony Stark aka Iron Man’s team. Even in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” she had a little bit of a role when she was posing as Steve’s neighbor, when in reality she was a S.H.I.E.L.D agent. The character perfectly fits in the espionage role since she happens to be the niece of Peggy Carter who was Captain America’s love interest in “Captain America: The First Avenger,” but both of them never really got to be with each other.

Apart from fighting for Captain America, it is also being reported that Sharon will be lending her skills to help Captain America fight in the battle. In Captain’s team Ant-Man, Hawkeye, Falcon and the Winter Soldier will be joining her. She will also have a female teammate in the form of Scarlet Witch, who will be on Captain America’s side.

IGN reports that because of the fact that Sharon was assigned to protect Steve from potential danger, she naturally will side with him since she knows the man Steve is right from “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.” Even in the comics, she was shown as Captain America’s love interest, so there are chances that the relationship between Steve and Sharon will be explored in the movie. One will know for sure when “Captain America: Civil War” releases in May next year.
