‘Captain America: Civil War’: Vision Lands On The Evil Side?

We saw a new entrant in the “Avengers” in “Avengers: Age of Ultron” with the creation of Vision when Thor’s lightning struck the pod. He declared himself to be on the side of life when he chose to fight with the “Avengers” against the megalomaniac Ultron. After having been deemed worthy of wielding the Mjolnir, Paul Bettany recently spoke about Vision’s role in the upcoming “Captain America: Civil War.”

According to Cinema Blend, Paul, who moved from playing Tony Stark’s J.A.R.V.I.S to the Vision, had to undergo a lot to play the part. Firstly, there was the prosthetic make-up, an inflated costume and the uncomfortable wire that he had to hang on to. Paul, who recently attended the AsiaPOP Comic Convention, spoke about his experience with Marvel. He stated that his character was just introduced recently and he has to be omnipotent and naïve at the same time. Given the fact that he is still experiencing the world in real time, one would not really know if Vision would go one way or another.

If fans remember “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” Vision mentioned that he was on the side of life when he decided to help the “Avengers” fight the megalomaniac, but he didn’t say that he will be joining the “Avengers.” In the “Captain America: Civil War” promo that was released earlier, Vision was seen on Iron Man’s side but with Paul’s comments on the character, it looks like Vision might just be a wild card like the Scarlet Witch who is just trying to analyze both the sides and making an informed decision about what is going on.

The Bitbag added that Vision might find himself in trouble when he will have to decide as to which side is the right one in “Captain America: Civil War.” As of now, it would totally depend on him if he stays on the good side of the fight or he turns to being evil since he is learning about life. For someone who was deemed worthy of lifting the Mjolnir, Vision probably will make the right decision. “Captain America: Civil War” will release next year on May 6th.
