When “Captain America: Civil War” released its first trailer, everyone thought the main focus would be on the conflict between Captain America and Iron Man as it was in the comics but since the timeline in the Cinematic Universe happens to be a bit different than the comic line, the story of “Captain America: Civil War” will be going a different way and will be focusing more on the friendship between Captain and Bucky, which we quite evidently saw in the trailer.
According to Movie Pilot, it is undoubtedly a delight to see Bucky coming back to normal and somehow trying to join the puzzle together about who he was and what he used to be, but according to Russo Brothers, this isn’t the Bucky we have known until now.
The co-directors of the movie elaborated that with this movie they wanted to bring a different version of Bucky, the one who is not Bucky anymore and neither is he the Winter Soldier. In fact he is someone in the middle, amalgamation of both the character if you might add. The reason for doing this was because “Captain America: Civil War” is next in line to “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” and in a way it was important to show where Bucky/Winter Soldier would go to.
Besides this “Captain America: Civil War” is not in line with “Avengers: Age of Ultron” or “Avengers: Infinity War.” This movie however will change a lot of equations between the former “Avengers” allies and it would really depend on this movie as to how our heroes are going to go about dealing with their common adversaries in the future.
IGN added Anthony Russo’s comments about the new Spider-Man suit. According to him, they had to work a lot with the new suit since the web slinger had to fit in with the other characters in this movie. He also stated that they are still working on the suit since much of it will be produced by special effects.
“Captain America: Civil War” will release next year on May 6th.
