Every once in a while, Hollywood actors would take minor breaks from the movie screens and pursue minor but gravitational roles in video games. Computer war games like “Call of Duty” have been tapping them for feature trailers or take part in the video game as a character. We’ve seen a bit of Robert Downey Jr. piloting a jet in a gun fight in the “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” trailer. There’s also Taylor Kitsch sporting high-tech gear in “Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare” trailer. Kevin Spacey also becomes the villain in the game itself of “Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.” Now, a new actor has joined this band of actors promoting that there’s a soldier in all of us. Chris Evans sets aside his shield and turns full-on military gun-man in the latest “Call of Duty Online” trailer.
According to Comingsoon.net, the Chinese exclusive “Call of Duty Online” finally released the full trailer after giving glimpses of Evans holding and acting as the big guns in the battlefield. The game has been in development for quite some time now and is in an open beta server in China since last year. Now, the game is set for free-to-play for Chinese players that features micro-transactions to enable special elements and features in “Modern Warfare,” “Ghosts” and “Advanced Warefare.”
Creators are expecting the “Call of Duty Online” to be huge that’s why they went huge in featuring Chris Evans in the game’s live-action trailer. The full version of the game will be released on Jan. 11, 2015.
