Cara Delevingne defends herself after many viewers bashed her in her awkward interview in “Good Morning Sacramento.”
Many of “Good Morning Sacramento” viewers did not like the outcome of Delevingne’s interview. The model turned actress had a very awkward “Paper Towns” interview promotion with the show’s hosts. Some fans reacted in a not-so-nice way and led Delevingne to make a move and defend herself explaining why she gave a lot of sarcastic answers, which is very unusual for her. She has even tweeted, “Some people just don’t understand sarcasm or the British sense of humour.”
If you were able to watched her live interview with the show’s hosts, you’ll notice how her interview turned incredibly awkward. Though many felt disappointed with the 22-year-old actor’s attitude, some viewers saw the point why she suddenly became sarcastic—she was just giving back what the hosts threw at her, which mind you, some or most of it are very terrible questions.
Delevingne appeared via satellite on the show “Good Morning Sacramento” last Tuesday morning to promote her movie “Paper Towns.” Everybody thought that things will go according to the plan and that the interview would be awesome, but unfortunately it seemed like it’s not a good day for Delevingne or for the news team.
Things started to get so awkward when news anchor Marianne McClary called her Carla Delevingne instead of Cara Delevingne and then while laughing, she asked her if she had a chance to read the book version of her movie as her first question; “Did you get a chance—the book is taught in a lot of high schools and such—did you get a chance to read it or do you even have time to sit and read it…these days is just so busy.” After being asked, Delevingne answered it normally with a bit of sarcasm, it even got the anchors laugh, but then everything went so off.
And after a few sarcastic and snappish response from Delevingne, McCarly said that the actress seemed a bit irritated. “We’ll let you go then…We’ll let you take a nap and maybe get a Red Bull,” she added.
Meanwhile, negative comments were thrown at Delevingne by the “The View” co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Nicolle Wallace because of her “bitchy” attitude in her interview.
