Carrie Underwood is a good role model. She is the sort of person who doesn’t take sides when her friends fight. We are talking about Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert here. Carrie Underwood refused to take sides when it came to her longtime friends Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert.
Carrie Underwood was talking to ET Online on the red carpet of American Music Awards last Sunday. She was delighted to confess that her baby takes up most of her time and she was delighted to know that she always had him to go home to. When asked about her eight-month-old son, she said that he was the best thing she and her husband ever did. “I tell him that almost daily,” she raved enthusiastically to the interviewers.
Underwood also confessed to having a little trouble when she tried to get ready for the awards show. Her son would often pull her attention to himself by asking her to pick him up and such. But she doesn’t find his company bothersome. At the end of the day, she is just like any other mom, happy to play the mom and help her child.
“No matter how things go tonight — if I win, if I lose, if I do great in my performance, if I don’t — I still get to go home to him,” Underwood confided. S
The country singer told the press that the mom card often trumped everything making everything a little less important.
When asked about her best friend, Miranda Lambert’s divorce, Underwood was equally candid. She said that she is like most other country folk and she wants both Lambert and her ex-husband, Blake Shelton to be happy. She said that they were both wonderful people and deserved to live happy lives.
Kudos on you, Carrie Underwood! That’s country people for you, folks! They always stick together through times of trouble.
