Cartoon Network is set to air its newest cartoon series, "Lego DC Comics: Batman Be-Leaguered" debuting this October. For more details on this story read on.
According to Comicbook.com, The studio made the announcements via social media site Twitter, posting a pic containing Lego versions of favorite DC Comic Heroes like Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg.
“The Superheroes must unite! LEGO DC Comics: Batman Be-Leaguered premieres Mon. Oct. 27th at 6/5c on Cartoon Network!" tweeted by #cartoonnetwork, the studio's verified Twitter account.
"Lego DC Comics: Batman Be-Leaguered" will feature the pre-New 52 versions of DC superheroes. The story will be about Batman's refusal over being part of the current Justice League. However, he will have no other choice when the Justice League heroes began to disappear. It is now up to the Dark Knight to save them.
Now it certainly looks like a real celebration for Batman’s 75th anniversary, who will be releasing its “Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham” videogame on Nov. 11, 2014, as well as a Lego spin-off movie, “
“The LEGO Batman Movie” set for a theatrical release on 2017 which will see the return of Will Arnet, who also voiced the Bats in the original “The Lego Movie.” “Lego Batman Movie” will be directed by Chris McKay, who served as animation supervisor on Lego Movie, from a script being written by author-screenwriter Seth Grahame-Smith. Roy Lee, Dan Lin, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller will be producing the pic.
Moreover, a “Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham” season pass containing six DLCs (downloadable content) will be made available for purchase as part of the celebration Each pack will include a mission level for both story and free play mode, as well as new unlockable characters, vehicles, achievements and more. The said packs included in the season pass are the “Dark Knight” pack, Batman 75th Anniversary pack and “Man of Steel” pack, the newly announced "Arrow"-themed DLC pack plus 2 more unknown DLCs, which will be made available on Nov. 11, 2014.
