A little spice on a show won’t ruin it. Shaking things up between the onscreen pair Rick Castle and Kate Beckett is talking about their break up in Season 8. The creative authority behind this storyline wanted the fans to remember what it is they loved about the show, and the couple.

One of the “Castle” stars Nathan Fillion said that the show was once a comedy with dramatic moments of heartfelt. They wanted to bring back the time when it was a fun show, a great show, a light-hearted show, a show that everyone once fell in love with, he added, designntrend.com reported. Both of the show runners Terence Paul Winter and Alexi Hawley contemplates in making comedy story lines be part of the show because they never consider it as a drama.

Spoilers revealed that the new episode for this season will be more particularly of the investigation regarding the death of Rick Castle’s favourite author.  Other photos divulged the brotherly romance of detectives Rick Castle, Kevin Ryan and Javier Esposito into digging deeper with this case because of the fact that Alexis would not be working with him. Sneak peek showed that having the three of them was not only for one scene, TVovermind reported.

Aside from this investigation the fans would surely be distracted with the break up and will be the Episode four’s awaited moments. How often will they talk about it? Can they fix their relationship immediately? One controversial line that came from Rick for the teaser was “There’s no greater betrayal than a lie in a marriage”, though spoilers said that Rick will continue to pursue Kate.

The fans may have felt betrayed with how things turned out but the Castle Season 8 will be showing in ABC on Monday at 8pm so they should probably just watch out for the bigger lies ahead.
