The season 8 started with the new show runners Alexi Hawley and Terence Paul Winter, who actually appeared very promising to the audience. They were thought to add more excitement to the twisting tales of the series, but unfortunately fans were not at all enthralled by the ABC crime drama, as stated by Realty Today.

As per the latest rating, the last episode titled “The Nose” could draw merely a rating of 1.1 which lowers then the last rating on the demographic scale which was 1.6.

The prime reason stated for the rating downfall is the show slot which has to compete with other series like “Blindspot” and “Monday Night Football” which divert audience. Also, the breakup storyline of Detective Kate Beckett and Rick Castle hasn’t got down very well with the fans. The fans have loved their bonding and chemistry in the earlier seasons.

Episode 6 of “Castle” is said to reprise the role of Adam Baldwin starred in the role of Ethan Slaughter. The key roles are played by Nathan Fillion as Richard Castle and Stana Katic as Kate Beckett.
