Many loyal “Castle” fans are eager to learn more about the February two-parter, whose titles have already been revealed, according to Spoiler TV. The first of the two episodes will air on Feb. 9, 2015, and the second part will air the week after. Read on for further details.
Episode 14 is entitles “Resurrection” while Episode 15 is entitled “Reckoning.”
According to TVLine, “Resurrection” will bring back a very familiar face. Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion) ends up helping the team out after they stumble across a murder whose clues point them in the direction of Dr. Kelly Nieman (Annie Wersching), a disciple of the 3XK Killer or Jerry Tyson (Michael Mosley), whom they had encountered before in Season 6 Episode 9 “Disciple.” It was when they investigated several murders which involved a male and a female victim who closely resembled Detective Javier Esposito (Jon Huertas) and Dr. Lanie Parrish (Tamala Jones), as Dr. Nieman, a plastic surgeon, had made them look like that, preferred by her clients.
However, as they continue to investigate, they unearth several connections to Jerry Tyson (Michael Moley), also known as the 3XK killer.
The last time that they encountered Jerry Tyson was in Season 5 Episode 5 “Probable Cause,” in which he had framed Castle of murder. After a showdown on the bridge, Tyson had jumped into the river, but his body had never been found, leaving his ending open ended.
However, in “Disciple,” it was hinted that he might just return, as Dr. Nieman was his disciple. By the end of that episode, the doctor left them a chilling message — a song which reminded the couple that he might just come back.
Meanwhile, based on the promotional photos, Michael Mosley, the actor who portrays Jerry Tyson, is seen in the interrogation room. However, based on the fact that the doctor is a plastic surgeon, it might really be him, or it might just be another doppleganger.
